Lights, Camera, Action

My name is Devin Xavier Desir, and I am 18 years of age with high hopes and big dreams. I'm multi-racial, I come from a very big family. I am Honduran, Cuban, Cruzan, and St. Lucian but born and raised in Boston MA. My friends would consider me as flamboyant, loving, and passionate about a lot of things. My friend would introduce me as your "Aspiring Actor" because its one of the careers I'm pursuing in, and will achieve. Tattoos are my favorite piece of art, they tell so many stories whether people want to believe it or not. My arm represents music, I have a sleeve of music tattoos on my arm, music is another thing that keeps me in the zone, the one thing that puts me in a greater state of mind.

I am interested in a lot of things, I like to explore different things like right now, I am taking acting classes through an agency to better my tool in acting. I am interested in singing as well. Singing is my second love. I really don't have hobbies except for staying fit and going the gym everyday. What I would do for fun is go out with some friends to see a movie, go shopping at my favorite store on Newbury street, relax at home and listen to 90's and cook.

My friends would describe me as a very blunt person because, I don't take anything from anybody and if I see something wrong with the picture, or if I feel some type of way, ill let it be known. I would also be considered as a character, because I am full of energy, all I do is bring around good vibes and laughter, I act everything out even when I'm having a conversation with someone,  I snap right into character, One last thing my friends would describe me as is ambitious, because if I have a high goal or a dream to reach, I'm going to go after it with no questions asked.

coming into the world alone finding myself

what I want to do, what I want to be

what the outcome will be of my future.

who's going to be there when I make it big

flashing lights from big cameras

the crowd yelling as I walk down the red carpet

handshakes from the big stars

yes its what imagine in my head

simply a fantasy.

will I make it there

the same question in my head everyday

imagining what's on the outside

feeling trapped in a non existent city

deciding on whether to explore

deciding on if I have what it  takes

nobody to boost my self-esteem.

yes alone, single mother

she believes in me she just never tells me.

nobody to hold my hand to whisper "you can do it"

guess i'll have to decide for myself.
